Additional Notes

  • Please expose pigment to light. This activates it and causes it to glow when the lights go out.
  • Using other colorants (including and especially titanium dioxide) will decrease the glow! Any colorant will decrease the amount of light that can be absorbed by the powder. If you plan on using a mica with this pigment, please use very little so the glowing results aren't diminished.
  • This pigment is extremely dense, and one ounce consists of approximately 4½ tsps. Because jars are filled by weight, they may be only partially filled
  • For more information, please consult provided data sheets.

A whole lotta glow

This green is intense! It lit up my dark room very well for pics. Too bad I didn’t order it in time for Halloween, it would’ve been perfect!

No Glo in Arizona

I made a batch of skuills and used 1 1/2 tsp per \pound of oils. After a two week cure, I tried out the glo. A skull was placed in natural sunlight and was moved to catch the sun for about 4 hours. Moved into my windowless bathroon and nothing. No glo, no selling point. Just a white skull that hopefully will sell fast for Dia de los Muerta.

Unfortunately, you didn't use the recommended usage rate for the Glow in the Dark pigments. On the product page, it states to use 2 1/2 teaspoons per pound of oil for CP soap.

Nice glow mica.

I bought this mica for a Halloween soap, and it worked well. I will also use it in other projects.
