She was wrong. You, on the other hand, should try this pleasing purple pigment. It's not too flashy, doesn't overwhelm. A soft, appealing hue with a silvery-blue undertone that shimmers with a violet cast in the sunlight.
Ingredients: Mica (CAS # 12001-26-2), Titanium Dioxide (CAS # 13463-67-7), Manganese Violet (CAS # 10101-66-3), Iron Oxide (CAS # 1309-37-1).
Safety Applications: Eyes, Lips and Face.
Performs well in cold process soap. A STUNNING color! NO MORPHING IN CP SOAP!!
Usage rates in Cold Process soap: 1-2 tsp. per pound of oils.
Usage rates in Melt & Pour soap: 1/4-1/2 tsp per pound of M&P base.
Adjust these calculations to lighten or darken your desired hue.These amounts create bright colors with no colored suds.
We sell colored micas to be used in soaps, and bath & body products as well as the colorant for eye shadows. Mica colorants should be used with a powder base and not straight on the skin.
