Safe For Bath Bombs
All of these colors and additives are approved for use in bath bombs. We have written an article, "FDA Regulations - What Colors Are Allowed In Bath Bombs" which should be read by all who sell their bath bombs. Uses and restrictions for each approved color additive are listed on the FDA site: https://www.fda.gov/Cosmetics/Labeling/IngredientNames/ucm109084.htm
We recommend water soluble dyes as the main coloring agent for bath bombs, bubble bars, etc, because it dissolves in water, needs no dispersing agent additive and is highly concentrated. When bloomed, a very small amount is needed to create bold colors!
If you use oil soluble Micas or Lakes, you must use Polysorbate 80 in your batch to disperse the oil soluble products properly. (See individual products for details)
