"Absolutely gorgeous! - I’m obsessed with moonstones and this mica leaves the most beautiful blue glow in and on products. I love it! ❤️" - Mandi O.
This is a white mica with a bluish-purple sheen when spread onto a surface. This is a perfect eye shadow color or use to brush onto the tops of bath bombs, bubble bars, soaps, etc! Reminds us of moonstones and the very cool nail polish we wore as teenagers in the 90's!

Stable and true to color in hot process, cold process and melt & pour soap base. However, the beauty of the colorful sheen is lost when used in CP, HP or white MP.
Best results in clear MP soap or brushed or "painted" on product after manufacturing.
Recommended usage rates in cold and hot process soap: 1-2 tsp. per lb of oils.
Recommended usage rates in melt & pour soap base: 0.5 tsp per lb of soap base.
Bath Bomb Notes
To use in bath bombs or other water applications, you must use polysorbate 80 (emulsifier) at a rate of 1-2% of your total batch weight. This should disperse the color evenly and eliminate mica from floating on the water's surface or leaving a ring of mica around the bathtub
I make ritual oils and was working on an idea for an oil based on Rainbow Moonstone and its properties and saw this gorgeous Mica.
I'm SO glad I got a larger size than just a sample because its PERFECT!!
It blends into oil easily, no clumps, it does slightly settle at the bottom of the oil when it's been sitting, but a quick shake and it's beautiful iridescence shines brightly!
Absolutely love the blue hue of color of this pigment, just STUNNING 😍
When I saw this color, I thought WOW!!! It has this wonderful, heavenly blue quality that looks amazing in person.
I’ve us d this new Mica once and it is fantastic. Lives up to the description. Anyone wanting to work on a white or Boulder Opal design this is an authentic colour to use. Living in tropical Australia has not affected performance which is a blessing. Can’t be happier with my Mad Mica colours.
I love this mica. When used alone in clear melt and pour soap, it looks like moonstone. I like adding it to my blues and purples to give them an extra kick of blue shine. It doesn't color your soap blue, but when the light catches it, it is a lovely blue shimmer.
