Additional Information:

  • Please expose pigment to light. This activates it and causes it to glow when the lights go out.
  • Using other colorants (including and especially titanium dioxide) will decrease the GLOW!  Any colorant will decrease the amount of light that can be absorbed by the powder. If you plan on using a mica with this pigment, please use very little, so the glowing results aren't diminished.
  • This pigment is extremely dense, and one ounce consists of approximately 4½ tsps. Because jars are filled by weight, they may be only partially filled
  • For more information, please consult provided data sheets.

This is amazing!

I had no idea this glow-in-the-dark mica powder would work so well! I wanted to make "ghostly glow" soap for friends and family for Halloween, and discovered Mad Micas online. What fun to see happy kid faces and equally impressed adults. Sorry for the bad photo - I'm a better soap maker than photographer. FYI, I also mixed the mica with clear nail polish and have glowing fingernails. Deciding on my next fun project now - thank you Mad Micas and Happy Halloween.

Hi I really enjoyed seeing little stars almost in my baby shower favors. Had I read the directions of how to use it & how much to use was not enough I added the trial I bought. I needed more. but I had bought small trial I believe? I can’t wait to try the green thank you

Suprise!

I'm making surprise soaps for the grandkids. Even the teens should think these are fun with the surprise glow in dark embeds.

I absolutely LOVE this! I have made a few ashtrays and the first one I went a little overboard on and I think you can see it from Mars. lol seriously tho, it makes the project THAT much better. I bought several containers of various colors and every single one is amazing. very vibrant and bright. you dont even need a lot. just love that I found this site. :)
