Edit Tahitian teal
I have been working on some designs for some soaps, named after my three Grandchildren. I have had failed attempts due to the F/O's that accelerate trace so bad, it is a nightmare, that, coupled with my recipe gets thick all on its on because I use lots of butters and several precious oils. I love my recipe as it works beautifully on my skin and my customers LOVE my soaps! I cannot do the pretty swirls like other soap makers, due to my soap getting thick too fast, and I do not want to make soaps that look like a picture. After all, in the end, it's soap. People want a bar of soap that works and rids them of body odor as well as alleviating skin problems and getting clean. I at least, wanted to make my "Weston Silk Soap" Weston named after my Grandson, to be aesthetically pleasing and due to the fact my batter gets thick in such a short period of time, I was back to the drawing board on how I could make this soap attractive. I had everything else down pat, the ingredients made it a luxury soap, the fragrance is simply amazing even though it accelerates trace, but HOW could I make it pretty, or nice enough for a Man's soap. I went to Mad Micas for inspiration and help. I am a stickler for not wanting to be accused of copying others and have my own designs. I saw the most beautiful color for my Weston Silk Soap and I had to get it! Tahitian Teal was the perfect color for the essence of the soap! My Grandson looks like a "sexy surfer boy" and he loves the beach! I wanted the Weston Silk Soap to have that vibe of being at the beach and the F/O coupled with the Tahitian Teal made a beautiful marriage. I have even had someone from Mad Micas even help me problem solve! Their customer service is SUPERIOR than any supplier I have dealt with over the years and I cannot say enough nice things about the Mad Mica staff and owners! Several years ago, I posted a soap on a Facebook Soap Group page that was run by "famous" soap makers. No one liked it and I am telling you it was a beautiful soap that I loved and it was called "Spellbound." I still make and sell that soap to this day, but now I use Mad Micas. I was told by another soap maker, that all of the admins and their friends made fun of me and my soap. I was known as the "ugly soaps, soap maker." I left that group with my held high and I have completely sold out of my Weston Silk Soap! Not only do the Men love it and I have had reports my soap has helped their skin and the acne on their backs, but WOMEN love my Weston Silk Soap for Men! Thanks to Mad Micas, my soaps are so beautiful and the staff and owners at Mad Micas are precious! They don't know me, but I love them! They are amazing and I will not go anywhere else to get my colorants. LOVE MAD MICAS! Here is to my "ugly soaps!"
I use this in resin it's a gorgeous color and mixes in easily!
