"You're Glowing! - If the color of angel wings could be captured in a jar, this would be IT!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!❤" - Amber

This is an absolutely gorgeous champagne colored shimmering mica that performs nicely in cold process soap, creating a lovely creamy ecru. In lotion or body oil, it delivers a gold shimmer that's really special.

On its own, Champagne mica's gold undertone gives a delightful warm glow when used as contouring makeup or a highlighting eye shadow.

Soap Notes

Usage rates in Cold Process soap: 1-2 tsp. per pound of oils.

Usage rates in Melt & Pour soap: 1/4-1/2 tsp per pound of M&P base.

Adjust these calculations to lighten or darken your desired hue. These amounts create bright colors with no colored suds.

    Bath Bomb Notes

To use in bath bombs or other water applications, you must use polysorbate 80 (emulsifier) at a rate of 1-2% of your total batch weight.  This should disperse the color evenly and eliminate mica from floating on the water's surface or leaving a ring of mica around the bathtub.

    You Want This

Champagne is such a great color because it has many sides to it. It’s creamy but also has a gold sheen to it that really makes it stand out. Will be ordering this again.

    UPDATE: Champagne mica in CP!

I hope it's ok to update, but I just gotta say, this mica has been my JAM! I first used it as a subtle contouring powder & that's been FABULOUS, but more often than not, I've found myself reaching for this mica over & over again for CP soap projects too! It's just that sometimes you don't want a super stark white, ya know? And when you want something that looks smooth, creamy & wholesome, while still whitening your soap to a lovely ivory, Champagne mica so totally delivers! Disperses effortlessly in a bit of carrier oil with no lumps, speckles or pesky glycerin rivers (like one might encounter with TD sometimes) and it looks stunning, both IN & dusted on top of CP! I've not found another shade quite like this, and it's a fact- I won't be without it! This mica also blends gorgeously with other micas when you wanna dial down the intensity a bit & make whatever color you blend it with blissfully creamy! Oh yeah!... And it looks positively ethereal in MP embeds too! My latest love affair with this mica was using it as the "foam" portion of a black & tan beer soap I made, and dusting the top with a bit of "Hot Man on A Tin Roof" mica was the perfect finishing touch! In SO MANY WAYS, this mica continues to be an absolute MUST-HAVE!
